Climbing in Leonidio is fantastic!

Leonidio is a small town on the Peloponnese Peninsula in Greece. Being one of the largest undeveloped climbing areas in Europe. Hundreds of sectors with the potential for thousands of routes, which are spread out within 20 kilometers and an altitude difference of 800 meters on high quality limestone, lie waiting to be developed. The number of new routes is growing rapidly. Currently (September 2015) there are already around 500 routes from French 4b – 9a. In Pánjika our idea is to share our passion and interest with you. We are a group of active and mainly local climbers. The aim is to offer a local meeting point for locals and climbers. Personally we envision to constantly support and push the development of climbing all around the area, which we started doing in the most active period since 2013, by bolting new routes, improving paths and, together with other locals, building up the association Α.Ο.Σ.Λ. We are happy to welcome you in our cooperative „Pánjika“ Feel free to visit us also for any climbing matters and information. Attend one of our regular events and social nights or meet you on the rock!
